To launch our new summer picnic menu, Lettuce and Lovage is asking people to nominate their favourite picnic spot in a public place in Cornwall and to say a few sentences about why it should be voted the best place in the county for a picnic. To enter simply take a photo of yourselves enjoying a Lettuce & Lovage picnic in your favourite picnic spot and e-mail it to eat@lettuceandlovage.com. We will then create a shortlist of 10 of the best pictures which we will display in the cafe and ask you, our customers, to vote for. The winning entry will receive dinner for two including a bottle of wine.
The closing date for entries is 1st September 2008, so come and get your picnic from Lettuce & Lovage and enjoy the summer.
The Small Print
- All entries must be received by midnight on 1 September 2008.
- The competition is only open to amateur photographers.
- The pictures must have been taken in Cornwall by the person entering the competition.
- Each picture should be accompanied by
- the name of the photographer, address and contact number
- name of the picture
- where it was shot in Cornwall
- The prize consists of a threee course dinner for two people including one bottle of wine; no cash alternative is availalbe and the prize must be claimed by 31 December 2008
- The judge's descision is final.
- Copyright remains with the photographer but by entering the competition he/she gives permission for Lettuce & Lovage to use the image on it's website.
- If you take pictures of children (under the age of 16) you must have written permission from their parents.
- By entering the competition, the entrant verifies that he/she has read the "Rules of Entry" and agrees to abide by them.
